Designed by Henrik Fisker at BMW's Designworks in Southern California
as an exercise to evoke the character of  the BMW 507 of '56-'59.
It was considered that it should be put into production and first appeared in 2000.
Despite featuring in the Bond film 'The World is not Enough' sales over its three years of life were
disappointing for BMW to say the least with a total of only 5,703 sold.
Its 4.9 litre V8 could propel it to a top speed of 185 if unchipped.
Sought after today as they are extremely rare beasts!
