mk1 with Sport alloys '98-'01

Introduced at the 1998 Birmingham Motor show the model revived the name of the classic Jaguar saloon of 1963.
Designed by Geoff Lawson the S Type was a retro style design based loosely around the classic 60's iconic MkII using a modified chassis from the Ford Lincoln LS.
Came with a large choice of engines ranging from a 2.5 litre V6 with an ample 201bhp to play with
up to a stonking 4.2 litre supercharged V8 with 400bhp on tap.
Mildly face-lifted over its ten year lifespan with a tweaked mk2 and mk3 models.
Final model rolled out of the Castle Bromwich facility in 2008 to be replaced by the XF.
