Range Rover Evoque Dynamic 5 door '11

Based on the 2008 LRX Concept design for a compact crossover SUV by Gerry McGoven,
the 2011 production version bares all the visual DNA to make it instantly recognisable as a Range Rover.
A first for Range Rover was the availability of a 2WD version.

Range Rover Evoque Dynamic 3 door '11

Another first for Range Rover was a 4 cylinder powerplant.
It came in either a 2.0 litre Turbo with 236 bhp or 2.2 litre Diesel power with 148 or 187bhp.
We also came full circle with a welcome return of the 3 door model as in the original Range Rover of 1970.
A rakish looking motor that comes in either Pure, Prestige or Dynamic 'design themes'.

Range Rover Evoque Prestige 5 door '11

In 2009 a £27 million government grant was made available to Land Rover subject to the model being built at its Halewood facility in Liverpool on Merseyside.
A runaway success from day one with the first year's production sold out before the first car came off the line.
When it did, on July 4th 2011, the first one went to the Heritage Trust museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.
